Chosen in-ear system for the MACH helmet system
Sound Innovations is a proud supplier to Gentex Corporation, which selected the ACE™ as the in-ear system for the Air Force’s advanced Modular Aircrew Common Helmet (MACH) Program. MACH sets the standard for advanced aircrew helmets across multiple platforms and mission scenarios. The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)'s goal is to reduce the logistical issues associated with supporting many different helmets, and the MACH will achieve this by replacing 27 helmets and helmet configurations with one single design. The DoD specification for the MACH includes stringent noise reduction requirements. Gentex Corporation selected the ACE™ because it is the only communication earplug that meets the essential noise exposure requirements for every aircraft environment.
