We are innovators and we are problems solvers. We are researchers, engineers, and product developers. We are committed to excellence. We are a team. Our mission is to use technology to solve the most vexing problems that face people who need to communicate and work safely in challenging acoustic environments. Our drive and dedication is to employ our technology in product forms that are intuitive and easy to use.

Sound Innovations, based in White River Junction, Vermont, is a growing, privately held corporation. Started by a close-knit team of Dartmouth engineering and business graduates and researchers, Sound Innovations has earned over $4 million in contracts from the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, and the National Science Foundation to develop technology that protects hearing, improves communication in noise, and improves our ability to hear and detect sounds.

Sound Innovation’s strong, multi-disciplinary engineering and research team sets us apart. Once we have established a problem that needs to be solved, we combine the ability to develop sophisticated algorithms, proprietary chip and electronic designs, and innovative mechanical designs with an intimate understanding of the user to produce products that make the previously impossible . . . possible.
